Who Are These Resources For?
Any online entrepreneur or blogger looking for a head start on the best tools (personally used by me) will love this list. I don’t recommend anything I don’t use or love. These tools have all helped me build my online business
SiteGround – A lot of people are going to recommend Bluehost. Personally I feel it’s because they have great affiliate commissions but if you’re looking for affordable shared hosting with amazing speed, nothing beats Siteground, period. I personally am on the GoGeek package because they limit the amount of users to one server, meaning more server capacity for my sites since less of it is being shared.
Namecheap – It’s personally who I use for all my domains and have used for years and for all of my clients. They just get the job done and their interface is very easy to use.
OptimizePress – I’ve built most of my websites using OptimizePress. It has a lot of features and tools to build your list, run a membership site, and create beautiful looking sales and squeeze pages. I highly recommend this one.
List Building Tools
Aweber – Building your email list is really important. I use Aweber to build mine. They also have a 30 day trial so you can give it a test run. Aweber includes all the tools and features to really make your email marketing and list building a breeze.
Popup Domination – Popups have increased conversions on my websites by an average of 35%. I used to be so against them, but when used properly, they can really help with conversions. I’ve used a lot of popup plugins until I finally found one as powerful and reliable as Popup Domination.
Optin Skin – I use Optin Skin for this blog and a few others. My favorite thing about it is that you can use it to add an opt-in form at the end of every blog post. It also comes with different templates, with a lot of room for customizability, to suit your website.
Easy Webinar – I run and host all my webinars with Easy Webinar. It’s affordable, easy to use and integrates with Google Hangouts. It’s also really fast to put up a webinar as it comes with a built in webinar page builder.
Sniply – Sniply is my secret weapon for content curation. When I share articles from other websites on my social media accounts, I use Sniply to keep a “share bar” over the content to drive traffic back to me or a landing page.
Other Tools I Use Everyday
CoSchedule – I use CoSchedule as my editorial calendar for my blog. It integrates really nicely with all my social media, making it even easier to create and distribute my content.
Long Tail Pro – I always recommend the Long Tail Pro to all website owners who want to do in-depth and quick keyword research. This is by far one of my favorite tools, it’s helped with so many different projects whether it was with finding profitable niches or just for doing good long tail keyword research.
Dropbox – Virtual hard drive, great for storing your files and backing them up so you can access them on any device and computer. I backup all my important files with Dropbox. This is also great to share large files with clients as well.
